BATTERY
1 x CR2032. Ensure +/- terminals are the correct way round.
SWITCH ON/ OFF
- Press the T1 button to turn the display on.
- To maximise battery life press and hold the T1 button to switch off after use.
- Auto switch-off occurs after 15mins of idle.
TO SET TIMER
Press T1 or T2 to select timer 1 or timer 2.
- When the timer is displaying 0000 , press UP , this will make hours flash.
- Then press UP or DOWN until the desired number of hours is reached.
- Press to ENTER to confirm selection.
NB: Press and hold UP or DOWN button to advance the digits quickly.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for minutes and seconds.
- Press START/STOP to start timer countdown.
- Press START/STOP again to pause or resume timing.
- When alarm sounds, press START/STOP to silence the alarm and recall the last time set.
COUNT UP FEATURE
Press T1 or T2 to select timer 1 or timer 2.
- When the timer is displaying 0000 press START/STOP to start count up.
- Press START/STOP again to pause or resume timing.
TURN REMINDER
The quicker meat browns, the less moisture is lost. Using the turn reminder, while cooking on high heat, will help you achieve an even cook and juicier results.
- Move the switch on the back of the timer to the position. This will display Turn20 on timer 2.
- Press T2 to select timer 2.
- As you place meat on the heat, press to start the timer.
- Each time the alarm sounds, turn the meat until your desired taste is reached.
- The timer will then restart and continue to count down until paused or rest.
For best results, cook over very high heat.
Do not place timer near heat or spitting oil/fat.
RESETTING TIMER
Press T1 or T2 to select timer 1 or timer 2.
- Press and hold UP & DOWN & for 3 seconds to reset the timer.
USE AND CARE
- If the display begins to disappear or alarm sounds faint, replace batteries. Always remove flat batteries.
- Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
- Do not immerse in water.
- Clean the timer with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the timer in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
- All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly flavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids such as citrus juices
